Advancement Party
Celebrating our members' bridge achievements
About the Advancement Party
The Advancement Party is held to honor players who have advanced from one or more ACBL levels and also to engage members in a pro-am game.
Coordinating with Sue Lloyd, manager of the Sandhills Bridge Center, the SDBPA provides the brunch, the prizes, and reimbursement for the Advancers' fee to play, while Sue provides the facility, her time to direct the game, and arranges the pairings of one Open player with a player of lower rank.
Players are invited to come for a delicious lunch at 11:00, after which the advancers are awarded prizes. The pro-am tournament follows.
